Her Flowing Colours (Palloo)

As a child, the ever changing colours of my mother's embrace - from lullaby to scolding, from stern determination to fluid laughter - has been an ever present comfort to me, near or far. My soul sings with praise for you Mother, thank you for shielding me in your palloo.

Context: A "palloo" is the over-shoulder drape of the traditional Indian sari.
